On the Salin de l'Ile Saint Martin, located near the old village, salt cultivation and oyster farming coexist for the pleasure of your taste buds. Visiting us, you will discover the perfect balance between nature and culture on a unique site in Europe.
Guided tour of the saltworks (duration: 1 hour 20 minutes), this walk through the salt tables will reveal the astonishing alchemy of the sun and the wind which combine their efforts to produce salt. Comments on the different production phases, video film on current salt production, botanical information, ornithological observation.
