On the occasion of Pink October, Gruissan is mobilizing for the fight against breast cancer with a series of solidarity actions throughout the month. The Tourist Office, the Harbor Master's Office, the Balneo Space and the Palais des Congrès are fully associated with this national cause by carrying the message of prevention and support.

Gruissan mobilizes for Pink October
One of the highlights of this commitment is the guided tour of the Chapelle des Auzils, organized by the Tourist Office on Saturday, October 19 at 15:00 p.m. This emblematic place in Gruissan, perched in the heart of La Clape, will offer a unique discovery. A contribution of €6 will be entirely donated to the local association "Il était une fois les Rooses", dedicated to supporting people with cancer. This visit symbolizes the Tourist Office's desire to do much more than promote heritage: it illustrates its concrete commitment to solidarity initiatives.
All the agents of the Tourist Office, the Harbor Master's Office, the Spa Area and the Palais des Congrès received a Pink October t-shirt. This gesture marks the collective involvement of our services, emphasizing that our missions go beyond summer hospitality. We want to show that our role is also to unite and raise awareness about causes that are important to our territory.

The Espace Balnéo joins the initiative by offering free admissions and massages to the association "Il était une fois les Roose". This attention aims to provide a moment of relaxation and comfort and to remind that Gruissan is a place of letting go and support.
Beyond the actions carried out, Pink October in Gruissan is an opportunity to bring together all local stakeholders and residents around a common cause. The City of Gruissan, the MJC and many other local stakeholders are offering a varied program to make the Aude city a pink wave.
