Reach the coast with complete peace of mind

During the season, beach shuttles simplify access to the Mediterranean while reducing car use. A practical alternative that makes reaching the Mediterranean easier, allowing you to enjoy the beach with greater ease.

By bus

Lines 8 and 8 bis from September to June.

In summer, lines "Summer 8", "Summer 3" and "Summer 4" operate. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes from the center of Narbonne. Tickets cost €1.20 per trip (10-ticket pass for €9 available at the Tourist Office). Payment by credit card is accepted on board.

Citibus buses serve the various districts of Gruissan: the Ayguades, the port, Mateille, the village, the beach of the chalets.

Rent your vehicle at the Harbour Master's Office
Located in the heart of the Eco-station, Gruissan offers environmentally friendly vehicles for your transportation needs. For a fun experience, rent one of the electric Fiat 500s and explore the region's most charming backroads. A fleet of electric bikes is also available for your nature excursions. You can even rent a cargo bike to transport your beach gear!
Without noise or polluting emissions, you will discover the region in an eco-friendly way… it makes sense!

Parking for cars or motorhomes

Car parking is free in Gruissan.
There are areas (near shops) on which it is only possible to park for a maximum of 1/2 hour from 9 a.m. to 19 p.m. Remember to bring your blue disk.

Are you coming in a campervan?
Parking motorhomes in public car parks is free and authorized from 8 a.m. to 22 p.m. in car parks that are not limited in height, which you will find opposite the Palais des Congrès, opposite the Tourist Office, along the boulevards , etc. Be careful, however, to respect the size of the parking spaces and not to leave the awning, step, etc.

Motorhome areas are equipped to spend the night in safety. After 22 p.m., vehicles still parked in public car parks are likely to be fined. The Quatre Vents area on the port on the Right Bank is accessible all year round, the Chalets and Mateille areas in season, see details by clicking on the files above.

By taxi: allow approximately 25 minutes from the station for a cost between €35 and €45 depending on the day and time.

By car: A9 motorway, exit 37 "Les Plages – Gruissan", then Gruissan is 15 km from the motorway via the D32. Gruissan is 1 hour 30 minutes from Toulouse, 1 hour from Montpellier and 1 hour from Perpignan.
